Baby's First Thanksgiving

Cayden is all dressed and ready to go on his first Thanksgiving. He is wearing a new outfit and boots that were given to him by two sweet ladies in our church.

All strapped in and ready for the 2 hour drive to the mountains to spend the holiday with our pastor and his family.

A New Friend!

19 month old Avery, our pastor's granddaughter, thought Cayden was pretty great. He was like her very own living baby doll. She gave him kisses and 'pet him' ;0) She also loved to push him in the stroller. So cute!

First Thanksgiving Dinner

Among his favorites were sweet potato casserole
and rolls (which is what he is eating in this picture) with
Cathy, our pastor's wife.

Sorry this video is a little dark but I thought you might enjoy it anyway. One of or cats (Sierra) was going crazy trying to get the reflection spot made by a miror and Cayden thought it was hilarious. This is the first time I have heard him laugh at something spontaneous on his own.

Sitting up!

Our little baby is growing up! He is sitting up all by himself. Of course, 10 seconds later he tips over or falls backwards, but we are still pretty proud. ;0)

Pat a Cake, Pat a Cake......

This is one of Cayden's favorite games. Just look at the smile on his face. I don't think it could get much bigger ;0)

Bedtime story with Daddy

They are reading a book titled " Moo, Baa, La La La," a baby step toward the theology books that will no doubt come later ;0)

No more peas please!

Ok, so peas (and green beans) are not Cayden's favorite foods, although surprisingly he does actually eat them. His reaction, however, is priceless!

Talkative Baby!

Cayden was sure talkative tonight! We're not too sure what he was trying to tell us, but judging from the tone in his voice it was probably something like "put down the camera and put me to bed" ;0)
